Your employer is committed to supporting the health and wellness of you and your family and are pleased to introduce firm-subsidised healthcare in Australia.
As of January 1 2020, eligible employees and family members will be able to sign up for selected plans, including the target plan, Corporate Gold Top Hospital $250 Excess and Better Health Extras 80% for which the firm will subsidise 75% of the current premium cost for you and your family. The 75% subsidy is prior to the application of the Australian Government Rebate (AGR) and Lifetime Health Cover (LHC). You must select Medibank Corporate Hospital and Extras Cover to be eligible for the subsidy.
When the cover displays a price of “from $0.00”, it means the cover is subsidised by your employer, up to an agreed subsidy value and conditions. The premium cost above the subsidy and any Lifetime Health Cover should it apply is payable direct to Medibank through monthly direct debit on the 1st of each month.
How does my health insurance subsidy work?
Your Employer is providing employees with a subsidy on hospital and extras cover options with Medibank.
If your choice of cover exceeds the subsidy amount, you will need to make a direct debit contribution on the 1st of each month to Medibank.
To facilitate a smooth transition to Medibank please have your current health fund details, your Medicare number, employee ID and bank details. If you don’t have a direct debit your bank details are needed for claims reimbursement purposes.
As an employee of Your Employer you are eligible for:
- Up to 30,000 LiveBetter Points~ when you track any activity in the MyMedibank app. These points can be redeemed for rewards from partners such as adidas, and The ICONIC as well as select Apple products and extra limit increases.

Where premiums are displayed on this site, they take into account any information that you have provided and selections that you have made relevant to your personal circumstances however, the premiums displayed do not take into account any discount that you may be entitled to as part of the Corporate Agreement in place between Your Employer and Medibank.
*For new members on new memberships who join and start a Medibank Corporate Health Cover subsidised by their employer from 19 May 2023 and have not held Medibank health cover in previous 60 days (unless they are a dependent coming off their parent's cover).
Excludes resident consumer Hospital and Extras cover, Basic cover, Accident Cover, Ambulance Cover, Overseas Visitors Health Insurance, Overseas Students Health Cover (OSHC), Working Visa Health Insurance, ahm covers and other selected covers.

If you are switching from another fund and you have used any of your current limits (at that fund), that will count towards your annual limits with us.
If you have reached your limits at your previous fund you may not be able to claim straight away on extras.
Live Better Points terms:
Must remain up-to-date with premium payments and hold eligible cover for 28 consecutive days from the policy start date.
The points will not be issued if you change to an ineligible cover, terminate your cover or suspend your cover during this period.
Policyholder will require access to a smartphone and will need to download either the Live Better stand-alone app or the My Medibank App and track any Live Better activity within 28 consecutive days from the policy start.
Must be 18 years or over and have a valid Australian residential address to register for Medibank Live Better.
Policyholder will need to have registered a My Medibank account and linked their My Medibank account with their Live Better account within 28 days from the policy start date.
Live Better points could take up to 8 weeks from the policy start date to be loaded to the policyholder's Live Better account.
For hospital only, singles and single parents will receive 7,500 Live Better Points, and families and couples will receive 15,000 Live Better Points. For hospital and extras, singles and single parents will receive 15,000 Live Better Points, and families and couples will receive 30,000 Live Better Points.
Live Better Rewards terms:
Must be a Medibank member with eligible hospital cover, extras cover, or hospital and extras cover, be up-to-date with premium payments and have signed up to Medibank Live Better with 'My Medibank' or have linked their My Medibank account with their Live Better account to redeem rewards.
